Colleen Scollans leads Clarke & Esposito’s Marketing & Digital Transformation Practice and is the Principal of Colleen Scollans LLC Consulting. She is a seasoned marketing, digital strategy, and customer experience leader.
Prior to consulting, Colleen was the Chief Marketing Officer for Oxford University Press’s (OUP) Academic Division. As global CMO, Colleen led over 250 marketing, digital strategy, and data/analytics professionals around the world. As the Lead Digital Strategist, Colleen spearheaded OUP’s digital and marketing transformation, developed a data/analytics culture, and was a consultative partner to OUP’s society clients. Prior to be being appointed CMO, Colleen led North American Sales & Marketing. Before joining OUP, Colleen held marketing and leadership roles at Wiley, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and First Union Bancorp.
Colleen is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Muhlenberg College with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Business/Marketing, where she was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Society. She frequently speaks and writes on marketing strategy, marketing technology, and digital transformation. Colleen is the creator of the 12Ps of Marketing Technology©, a proprietary capability-based framework for successful marketing technology adoption. She is on the board of advisors for ClickZ (a leading digital marketing magazine) and Conscia (an experience orchestration platform). In addition, she is a StartEd EdTech Accelerator mentor and a founding member of Chief, a women’s executive network.
Colleen resides in Montclair, New Jersey with her husband and stepdaughter. She is both a citizen of the United States and Ireland and spent extensive time working in the UK during her tenure at OUP.
