Anne Stone is a strategic marketing consultant with decades of experience in educational and scholarly publishing. She specializes in aligning strategy with execution to drive sales and marketing impact. Anne partners with publishers, societies, and businesses—both large and small—to develop brand platforms, launch new products and programs, and deliver thought leadership and content strategies informed by market insights.
Anne previously held senior marketing roles at Blackwell Publishing and Wiley, where she led global teams in strategic planning, marketing operations, and partner engagement—including managing collaborations with some of Wiley’s largest society partners. Beyond publishing, Anne has led marketing initiatives for a national K–12 professional association and launched strategic partner programs at Constant Contact, a marketing SaaS company serving small businesses.
An active member of the Society for Scholarly Publishing, Anne currently co-chairs the Marketing & Communications Committee. She also contributed to the 2023 Global Survey of the Workplace Equity Project, sponsored by C4DISC.
Anne holds a Bachelor of Science in English and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin and is based in Massachusetts.
