New Publishing Services Agreement between the American Society of Nephrology and Wolters Kluwer

The American Society of Nephrology (ASN) and Wolters Kluwer today announced a new publishing services agreement. Clarke & Esposito had the privilege of working with ASN to broker this notable deal. The agreement includes the Journal of the American Society of Nephrology (JASN), the world’s leading kidney journal; Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology (CJASN), a journal focused on communicating and and influencing advances in clinical nephrology; and Kidney360, an open access journal with an broad scope, spanning basic, translational, clinical, epidemiologic, health policy, population science, and global health kidney research.
ASN is entering into this publishing services agreement after independently publishing its journals. The decision to work with Wolters Kluwer followed a hotly competitive request for proposal (RFP) process managed by C&E. ASN will begin publication with Wolters Kluwer in 2023.
