APSA Renews Publishing Partnership with Cambridge University Press Following Strategic Review

The American Political Science Association has renewed its publishing partnership with Cambridge University Press following a competitive request for proposals (RFP) process for the association’s journal publishing program.
C&E supported APSA throughout the process, providing strategic and commercial advisory services as the association evaluated publisher proposals and considered the long-term direction of its publications portfolio.
The renewed agreement extends a long-standing relationship between APSA and Cambridge University Press, which publishes APSA’s member-wide and section journals, including American Political Science Review, Perspectives on Politics, and PS: Political Science & Politics.
The review process provided APSA with an opportunity to assess evolving priorities across scholarly publishing — including open access, research funding, technology, and changing member expectations — while reaffirming the value of an established publishing partnership.
The renewed collaboration positions APSA and Cambridge University Press to continue developing the association’s publishing program in support of the political science community.
