C&E is seeking an associate to support our marketing and digital consulting practice. You’ll work on client projects across marketing technology, digital strategy, AI enablement, modern marketing operations, and product strategy — gaining hands-on consulting experience while building strategic thinking and research skills. This role is ideal for someone who wants to become a consultant or marketing leader and is energized by working on varied challenges across different organizations and industries.
What You’ll Do
- Project manage client engagements — coordinate timelines, deliverables, and communication to ensure high-quality work that aligns with project plans
- Support consulting work — attend client meetings, conduct interviews, synthesize findings into insights and recommendations, and help build reports and presentations
- Conduct research — perform market scans, competitor analysis, and trend research to inform client work and practice offerings
- Develop practice frameworks and systems — help build and maintain C&E’s consulting methodologies, templates, and internal knowledge systems while identifying workflow efficiencies and automations
- Stay current on modern marketing — track trends, innovations, and emerging technologies in marketing, digital strategy, and martech to keep the practice’s knowledge base fresh
- Create content — work with the marketing team to develop case studies, client examples, and materials that showcase the consulting practice’s frameworks and client work
What We’re Looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, data analytics, or related field
- 2–5 years in consulting, digital marketing, research, or strategy roles — ideally in client-facing or project-based environments
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills — you can synthesize insights from interviews, research, and data into clear findings and recommendations
- Solid project management abilities — you know how to structure work, manage timelines, and coordinate deliverables across stakeholders
- Technically confident and systems-minded — comfortable working in and building tools like Airtable bases, dashboards, trackers, and automations
- Proficient with core tools: Microsoft Office, Canva, Airtable, Asana, Workflow and AI tools
- Experience with (or strong interest in learning) marketing technology, analytics, and data tools
- Agile learner who’s curious, resourceful, and knows when to ask strategic questions versus find answers independently
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and attention to detail
- Collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced, intellectually demanding environments
- Nice to have: Experience in research, higher education, publishing, or association environments
Compensation
- Salary range: $US65,000–115,000 per year, with opportunity for performance bonus. Based on US rates; geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. Salary reflects experience and scope of responsibilities.
