C&E is seeking a Marketing Lead to join our fully remote and growing consulting firm. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll lead our marketing — from brand positioning and content strategy to marketing operations, campaigns, and digital optimization. You’ll report to our Practice Lead for Marketing & Digital on the overall firm marketing strategy and contribute your expertise to select client engagements. This role is ideal for someone who wants to flex their B2B marketing skills while gaining insight into how consulting works. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is equally comfortable with creativity as they are with process and technology.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity — ensuring clear, consistent articulation of who C&E is and what makes us distinctive
  • Own marketing operations and technology — manage HubSpot (CRM + Marketing Hub), GA4, and integrations across our systems to streamline workflows and drive data-driven decisions
  • Manage our digital presence — oversee website strategy and performance, content marketing, social media, and firm newsletters
  • Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns across web, email, social, and paid media — measuring and optimizing performance throughout
  • Support business development — develop proposal materials, build our proof points library, and contribute marketing expertise to client engagements

What We’re Looking for

  • 5–8 years in marketing or communications, ideally in professional services, consulting, or B2B environments (bonus points for research, higher education, publishing, or associations)
  • Strong strategic and operational marketing skills — you can connect positioning, content strategy, and execution across channels
  • Experience planning and running digital campaigns (web, email, social, paid media) with clear measurement and optimization
  • Hands-on experience with marketing systems and automation — particularly HubSpot, GA4, and related integrations (Bonus: HubSpot/GA certifications)
  • Systems-minded and technically confident — comfortable building dashboards, automations, and structured tools to improve workflows
  • Skilled at content marketing — turning insights and events into campaigns that drive engagement (Bonus: light design/video editing skills, sales enablement materials development)
  • Strong project management and communication skills, with experience managing vendors, budgets, and timelines
  • Collaborative self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and learns quickly
  • Proficient with core tools: Microsoft Office, Canva, Airtable, Asana, and generative AI tools

Compensation

  • Salary range: $US75,000–$110,000 per year, with opportunity for performance bonus. Based on US rates; geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. Salary reflects experience and scope of responsibilities.
