Clarke & Esposito is a leading consulting firm serving publishers, associations, education providers, and content-centric organizations of all kinds. We are seeking a dynamic marketing and digital communications strategist to support our rapidly expanding Marketing and Customer Experience practice, and to lead the firm’s own marketing efforts.

Marketing & Digital Communications Strategist

Scope and Responsibilities

Lead Firm Marketing Efforts 

  • Work closely with firm leadership and subject matter experts to create impactful content and manage distribution of content
  • Nurture and grow the C&E brand through the creation and application of visual and voice guidelines and digital storytelling 
  • “Own” the strategy and day-to-day management of our social media channels, email marketing, and website
  • Develop and implement B2B marketing campaigns for firm products and services 
  • Manage the firm’s marketing technology stack (HubSpot, Google Analytics, MailChimp, etc.)

Support Marketing & Customer Experience Practice

  • Support client engagements through desk research, report writing, and creation of client-facing presentations (RFI responses, pitches, workshops, training, etc.)
  • Perform brand, social media, content marketing, web, and messaging audits and recommendations 
  • Support clients in developing differentiated positioning, value propositions, messaging, and narratives 
  • Assist in consulting projects focused on marketing strategy, marketing technology, and customer experience 
  • Stay abreast of trends in marketing, customer experience, marketing technology, and author experience 

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Well-versed in modern marketing principles and technologies 
  • Strong experience in digital storytelling and content-centric marketing roles and a track record of using content and digital marketing to achieve business goals 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong history of building relationships across organizational divisions and stakeholders
  • Highly analytical, with a track record of being a problem-solver
  • Project management experience 
  • Ability to see the big picture and to focus on details when necessary
  • Strong technical skills and experience with tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, MailChimp
